About Us

Santa Fe Unit School is located in the heart of Santa Fe, Tennessee.  We are a Kindergarten through 12th grade Unit School serving approximately 600 students.

Our teachers, staff, parents, and community work together to bring a positive environment for our students to learn and excel.

Santa Fe Unit School Supply List Grades K-4

Kindergarten: 5x8 hinged lid school box, 8 small glue sticks, safety scissors, 1 pack of pencils, 8 pack washable markers, (2)-24 pack of crayons, 1 pink eraser, 2 composition books, 2 plastic folders with brads and pockets, 3 ring pencil pouch, 1 handheld pencil sharpener, 1 pair of headphones or ear buds for individual computer time.

1st grade: 2 pink erasers, 1 pack cap erasers, 1 pencil box, (2) 24 pack of crayons,

3 ring pencil pouch, (4) packs No. 2 pencils, 1 pack of highlighters, 3 plastic

folders with prongs and pockets, 3 composition books, 6 glue sticks, 1 pair

scissors, 1 pack Expo markers, 1 backpack without wheels, (1) 1 inch 3 ring

binder (no Trapper Keepers), markers, 1 handheld pencil sharpener, 1 pair of

headphones or ear buds for individual computer time.

2nd grade: small plastic school supply box, (4) packs No. 2 pencils, 4 composition

books, 2 packs wide ruled paper, 2 boxes of 24 crayons, 5 glue sticks, 1 pair

blunt tipped scissors, 1 (4) pack of Expo markers, 4 (2) pocket plastic folders

with brads, 1 pack of highlighters, 1 backpack without wheels, (1) 1 inch 3 ring

binder (no Trapper Keepers), 1 pair of headphones or earbuds for individualized

computer time, 1 handheld pencil sharpener.

3rd grade: (1) 2” three-ring binder or 1 zipper binder, 1 pack of 5 tab dividers,

4 different color pocket folders (no prongs), 3 ring pencil pouch, 2 packs No.2

pencils, 2 packs of cap erasers, (2) packs of 24 crayons, 4 packs or larger glue

sticks, 1 box colored pencils, 1 pair scissors, 1 composition notebook (any color),

1 pack dry erase markers, 1 pack of highlighters, 1 pair of headphones or

earbuds for individual computer time, 1 handheld pencil sharpener, backpack

(without wheels).

6th Grade Supply List

6th grade

ELA/S. Studies

 

 

A 1½ inch 3 ring binder for just ELA/SS classes; 1 pack of at least 6 or 8 tab dividers to go in the ELA/SS binder. (Stays in Ms. Barr's classroom most of the time.)

1 agenda/assignment book ($5 in office) or monthly planner to bring to class/home daily to use in ALL classes;

lots of wide-ruled, loose leaf paper,

lots of pencils,

ink pens (no black ink) to last throughout the year;

several highlighters;

1 composition notebook; (not spiral)

At least 15 clear sheet protectors;

1 RED plastic folder with brads and pockets (can use the one they used in 5th grade;)

colored pencils and hand-sharpener;

simple earbuds or earphones (no wireless) We will use these frequently.

Optional items: Washable markers, roll of transparent tape, hand sanitizer, Kleenex
